Tropheops sp. Elongatus broadzulu

Description

This is one of a group of mbuna that used to be part of the “Elongatus complex”. One reason for the move is their lower level of aggression- a characteristic borne out in this fish. Tr. broadzulu has a wide range- from Domwe Island south to Mokokola Reef at the bottom end of the lake. This morph is found at Kanchedza Island and is by far the most colorful.
