Champsochromis spilorhynchus

Description

The Champsochromis Spilorhynchus one of the most exotic species we carry. In the wild this fish can be found over sandy and muddy substrates near vegetation and in shallow water which make it a great fish for hobbyists. They can grow to be over a foot long. They prefer a carnivorous diet and will hunt small fish. We recommend starting them on plankton gold flake at a small size and switching to a high protein pellet around 2.5″
