Ctenochromis horei

Description

This extremely unique tanganyikan cichlid is a gem among gems when the males will display their full coloration. This tanganyikan will mostly act like a mbuna cichlid in that it will readily accept any type of food. Its temperament is also quite similar as well as its breeding behavior. This fish is a favorite of the multipunctatus catfish to spawn around and trick the female horei into picking up catfish eggs.
