Growing up to 3 inches in length, Emerald Catfish are ideal for community tanks, coexisting peacefully with other non-aggressive species. Known for their efficient scavenging abilities, they help maintain tank cleanliness by consuming leftover food and organic debris. They prefer to live in groups of at least five and thrive on a diet of sinking pellets, wafers, and occasional live or frozen foods. With proper care, these delightful bottom-dwellers can live up to 10 years, making them a valuable and visually striking addition to any freshwater aquarium.
