Description

The Yellow Blaze Lithobates is a Haplochromis native to Lake Malawi where it lives around the rocks and caves of Zimbawe Rock. Males exhibit a fiery streak of electric color down the dorsal fin that really stands out against its rich blue coloring. Females exhibit shades of silver and a series of black dots. We recommend feeding them a high protein diet with cichlid pellets and our Plankton Gold Flakes to bring out the brightest colors in these fish.

Otopharynx Lithobates are considered to be mildly aggressive. They can live peacefully with a select variety of other fish without displaying aggression. Other compatible species are Red Cap Lethrinops and Taiwan Reef

A ranking system within the species will form when two or more yellow
