Striped Raphael

Description

The Striped Rafael Catfish is a member of the “talking catfish family, and will make an interesting buzzing sound when removed from water. Like most talking catfish, it prefers to be kept in a small group.

Basic Info

It is a medium sized fish, and at maturity will reach a size of 6 inches. The Striped Rafael has a black body with varyingly located spots of white to beige color. The Striped Rafael Catfish has 24 to 29 rays in its anal fin. Maturity will be reached in two to three years.
